Google recently announced a new app for travelers google trips. Google Trips culls your Gmail account for hotel reservations, flight bookings, travel times, addresses, and other information you could possibly need for your next trip.
Google advertises this app as a potential life saver when you’re abroad without signal or Wi-Fi. That’s because everything in your itinerary is available offline. A download button lets you save each trip individually, so you don’t need to gunk up your internal storage with places you know you can visit with great reception.
TripAdvisor has a huge database of customer reviews and opinions and is now one of the largest travel sites in the world, with 350 million monthly unique users and 385 million reviews. Users want to know the first-hand experience of other customers with no vested interests—not just the expert opinions. They also like to check live photos instead of the photoshopped images. This stickiness of user behavior is perhaps one of the biggest advantages that TripAdvisor has.
Google Trips: Plan and organize your next trip in just minutes.
